Popular Spring Programs 

 

T-Ball League

     Learn fundamental T-ball skills in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Volunteer parent coaches will teach throwing, catching, hitting a ball off a tee and running the bases. 

  • Fee: $40 city of Bozeman residents /$56 nonresidents
  • Three Leagues available:   3-4 years old / 4-5 years old / 6-7 years old 

* Must be 3 years old my May 3 to register. 

     Practices: Practice schedules are determined by volunteer coaches and generally start in early May. Games: May 6 through June 6 at Beall Park. The schedule will be announced at the first practice. Our T-Ball League is limited to a two-night a week commitment, and the schedule varies each week.

Skateboarding

      *NEW THIS YEAR* Indoor skateboarding camps at the Story Mill Community Center gym. We are bringing our popular summer camps indoors in April! Stay tuned for more information about summer camp options. 

  • Beginning Skate Camp - (Ages 6-12 years)  Our beginner camp is geared toward the child who has no experience skateboarding. Your child will learn skateboard parts, balance, pushing, riding up and down small ramps, and simple flatland tricks. Helmets are required. Bring your skate gear if you have it or we will provide it. 
    • Fee: $30 city of Bozeman residents/$42 nonresidents
    • Dates: Wednesdays April, 3-24
    • Time: 5-7 pm
    • Location: Story Mill Community Center, 600 Bridger Dr. 
  • Intermediate Skate Camp - (Ages 6-12 years) Geared toward children who have participated in our beginning skateboard camps or who have developed enough skills to navigate the skate park on their own. Skaters will hone their skills, learn from peers, polish their skate park etiquette and practice tricks. 

    • Fee: $30 city of Bozeman residents/$42 nonresidents
    • Dates: Thursdays April, 4-25
    • Time: 5-7 pm
    • Location: Story Mill Community Center, 600 Bridger Dr.

EXPLORE! Summer Day Camps

Our camps focus on adventure and FUN, and take advantage of Bozeman's many parks. Camp descriptions are listed in our Program Guide on pages 8 and 9.

  • For ages Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Time: 7:45 am - 5:30 pm
  • All camps are at the Story Mill Community Center, 600 Bridger Drive.
  • Fee (per camp, per day): $45 City of Bozeman Resident/$60 Non-resident

Aquatics

     The aquatic center hosts a variety of events throughout the year, which are posted at the facility and on the website. Swim Center programs include Water Fitness, Lap Swimming, Recreation Swimming, and Open 

Boating. Closures for events and maintenance are posted at the facility, on the website and on our Facebook page, or you can give us a call! 

  • Children's Swim Lessons - The City of Bozeman has offered quality swimming lessons for 80 years! To view lessons and session fees for the spring/summer session, visit the Swimming Lessons page over in our Pools Division. To register for lessons, please register online by clicking the Swimming Registration button below, or sign up in person at the Swim Center at 1211 W. Main, or Beall Center at 415 N. Bozeman.
  • Adult Swim Lessons - We have partnered with the Bozeman Masters Swim Team to bring adult swim lessons to the Swim Center. For lesson dates and fees, visit bozemanmaster.org, email Bozemanmasterslessons@gmail.com or call Sue Harkin at 406-600-9296.
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Classes - The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguard course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge
    and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies, and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Contact 406-582-2294 for more information/payment info.

Other Programs

Skyhawks Sports Camps & Clinics

     Skyhawks is a youth sports program focusing on "Teaching Life Skills Through Sports", and we are excited to offer all New camps and clinics this spring and summer! Programs are designed to give children the opportunity to be active, practice healthy living and learn live lessons. At a Skyhawks programs, you can expect your kid(s) to get off their feet in a safe and fun, structured environment. World Language Summer Camps

     Our partnership wiht World Language Initiative MT allows us to bring their popular after-school programs into our summer camp mix. WLI-MT presents exciting art- and activity based language learning camps for children ages 4-13. Pickle ball Program

     We joined forces with area enthusiasts to bring you pickle ball and have seen incredible growth of this fun sport. Now run by volunteers, the best way to find out more about Bozeman Pickle ball is to go to their Facebook page.
