The City of Bozeman's Human Resources Department is responsible for a comprehensive human resource program, including recruitment of qualified employees, policy development and administration, fair employment practices training, payroll and retirement processing, benefits administration, employee assistance, discipline and discharge, collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration, maintenance of personnel records, and the administration of the City's performance evaluation and grievance processes.

Human Resources staff is committed to providing high quality services to all prospective, current and past employees and to treating such individuals fairly, and with respect and individual attention.
