Updated Unified Development Code (UDC) - Now Available

The revised Unified Development Code is complete. A PDF format file link is below. The final version includes all the changes made by the City Commission during the public review and adoption process and edits in the “Pile B” text amendments. The changes went into effect on March 31, 2018. 

**Any application that did not received Adequacy, as defined by this chapter, prior to March 31, 2018 will be reviewed under the NEWLY REVISED CODE - Chapter 38.**

Before You Apply

There are a couple of steps you can take prior to filling out an application:

  1. Find your Property on the City Map and determine if your project is permitted within your zone.

  2. Review the City’s FAQs and Brochures page to help you understand the Development Review Process and determine which Development Applications you may need.

  3. Some projects require a Completeness Review prior to submittal.  Please check the list below to determine if this is a necessary step for your type of application.

Once you have determined that the project is permitted in your zone, please visit either the Development Applications or Sign Applications page for the appropriate forms for your project. 

 

Completeness Review Appointments | Required for Application Types Listed Below 

If you are submitting one of the following projects, be sure to click on the link below to schedule an intake meeting (completeness review) for submittal:

  • Site Plan
  • Master Site Plan
  • Conditional Use Permit
  • Zoning Variance
  • Zone Map Amendment
  • UDC Text Amendment
  • Growth Policy Amendment
  • Annexation, Regulated Activities in Wetlands
  • Subdivision Pre-Application
  • Subdivision Preliminary Plat
  • PUD Concept Plan, or PUD Preliminary Plan.
