The City of Bozeman Streets Division has scheduled the spring sweeping of residential streets. The sweeping is done to prevent the storm drains from plugging with the sand that was used for ice control during the winter.

YOU CAN HELP! PLEASE DO NOT PUT BRANCHES OR COMPOST INTO THE STREET.

• Subdivisions start on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
• Core starts on Monday, April 20, 2026.
• Emily Dickinson, Hawthorne, Irving, Longfellow, Morning Star and Whittier schools on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Sweepers will NOT come back and sweep areas that were not accessible. Residential streets are not scheduled to be swept again until fall.

Subdivision Sweeping Schedule: The subdivision streets are NOT signed for street maintenance. Find your scheduled day and do your part. 

Core Area Sweeping Schedule: Street Cleaning Signs are installed by noon two days prior to street sweeping. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or other concerns. If this occurs signs will be posted, two days in advance, for an alternate day. Citations will be issued for parking when signs are posted. Once the street signs have been removed, you can resume parking in that area.
