The City of Bozeman offers bulky item pickup for large items that don't fit in your regular landfill collection tote or that can’t be donated or sold.

Please note that dumping on city streets is illegal, and abandoned items like couches and desks left curbside can pose safety and health risks. We’re here to help by picking up and properly disposing of your bulky items.

To qualify for this service, you must reside within Bozeman City Limits, be a City of Bozeman Solid Waste customer, and note that there is a $20 fee per item.

MSU Don't Curb Your Crap Program (Students Only)

Are you an MSU student moving out this spring? We offer students Bulky Item Pick Up services until May 31^st. Visit the MSU Don't Curb Your Crap page for more information.

Items we will pick up:

• Couch/sofa
• Mattress + box spring (count as 1 item!)
• Chair
• Table
• Desk
• Dresser
• Items too big to fit in a garbage bin 
• Refrigerators (of any size) (+$40 fee)
• Air conditioning units (+$40 fee)

Items we will NOT accept:

• Bags of trash
• Hazardous waste (used oil, paint etc)
