Our next academy will begin on March 26, 2026 and run through mid-May. We will meet on Thursdays from 6-9pm at the Bozeman Public Safety Center (901 N Rouse).

It covers divisions and departments like patrol, detectives, and K-9. It also includes information on groups like the Missouri River Drug Task Force and Special Response team. It teaches citizens about crime scene investigations and scenarios. It also showcases weapons like Tasers. The class includes an optional ride-along with our patrol officers.

The BPD team provides class instruction, demos, and hands-on activities. You'll be on your feet learning about everything from traffic stops to CSI investigations.
