Welcome to the Forestry Division
The Forestry Division is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing community forest. Environmental, economic, and social benefits from the urban forest raise the standard of living for Bozeman residents.
The Forestry Division maintains trees in public spaces:
- Street boulevards
- City-maintained parks
- City-owned properties
In addition to tree maintenance, Forestry provides other community services. Each year the division helps with the downtown Christmas decorations, hanging the skating rink curtain at Anderson Pavilion, and recycling Christmas trees. The Forestry Division also assists with community events and educational programs for the public.
