Citizens Fire Academy | City Of Bozeman

Welcome to our annual Citizens Fire Academy! Our firefighters teach this five-week course. Students will learn more about the department and meet our team. They will also wear the gear, pull hose, and ride in a fire engine.

We invite all Bozeman residents ages 18+ to attend. We prefer students to be able to attend every class. We hope you learn new skills and gain a greater understanding of the inner workings and demands of the Bozeman Fire Department.

Meet our Inspection Team! You will learn what they are looking for and why. We'll also discuss pre-planning for fire safety, public education, and fire investigation. You'll learn how to protect your home and family in emergencies.
