Class One: Intro into the Bozeman Fire Department General Overview

Have you ever wanted to look inside a fire station? Chief Waldo will take you on a tour through Station 1. You'll see the engine bay and the firefighter living quarters. You'll also learn more about our firefighters and BFD history.

Class Two: Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Management  

In this class, you'll take a tour of our ambulance. You will also learn non-certified hands-on CPR .Finally, you'll explore local and national emergency situations. 

Class Three: Equipment Demo

In our third class, you'll learn more about firefighting equipment. Students will try on gear, spray a hose, and use the jaws of life. This class is dedicated to 9/11.

 Class Four: Hazmat and Tech Rescue 

 Ever wondered how the BFD rescues people in danger? The Tech team will teach you about ropes and knots. You'll try to get them out of tight spots! You'll also visit the 911 dispatch center and learn about operators' jobs. and let you try to extract them from a tricky spot. 

Class Five: Community Risk Reduction/Wildfire

 Meet our Inspection Team! You will learn what they are looking for and why. We'll also discuss pre-planning for fire safety, public education, and fire investigation. You'll learn how to protect your home and family in emergencies.
