The Parking Department is committed to transparency in both enforcement practices and overall operations. Sharing citation data allows the community to better understand the department’s role and the types of violations issued throughout Bozeman. In Bozeman’s Downtown area, the majority of citations fall into two categories: Safety Violations and Overtime Citations. The two-hour parking restriction in Bozeman’s Downtown core is designed to promote turnover, ensuring that parking spaces remain available and accessible for businesses, employees, and visitors.
