The City of Bozeman has launched a new podcast, the “Bozeman Beat,” to talk about important topics happening in the community and meet residents in a different format. Mayor Joey Morrison will host the first two seasons of the podcast, and the podcast will be released monthly.

“Just over half of adults living in the US listen to podcasts,” Mayor Morrison stated. “This is a format that people are increasingly using to learn something new, and we’re interested as a city in providing a space different from the Commission room to share our thoughts and learnings. We hope that residents tune in and let us know the topics they want us to discuss in further depth.”

The first few episodes start with discussions on topics the city is deeply involved in, such as the new Mayor’s term and housing in Bozeman. As the series progresses, Mayor Morrison will sit down with people across the community, talking both about things that the City is involved in and topics outside of City work that nonetheless touch the lives of residents.
