The City of Bozeman has launched a new program to respond to resident requests for seasonal neighborhood traffic calming measures! These are installations like traffic circles and curb extensions that help drivers slow down and keep an eye out for people walking, biking, and rolling in our neighborhoods. These measures decrease the frequency and severity of crashes and encourage more active transportation (such as walking and biking). 

Know a spot in your neighborhood that could benefit from traffic calming? We’re accepting applications now through March 6. Apply online at https://www.bozeman.net/departments/transportation-engineering/traffic-calming. The approved projects will be installed in late spring once the weather warms up and will be in place until early October.
