Welcome, Squad 2! Our new Quick Response Vehicle, named Squad 2, went live on the streets this weekend. Squad 2 is a smaller vehicle equipped with standard medical and safety equipment. It’s cheaper and easier to run than a large apparatus like a fire engine. Squad 2 will provide a quick and flexible response to low-level emergencies. 

By using Squad 2 for smaller emergencies, the Bozeman Fire Department saves taxpayer money and reduces wear and tear on larger vehicles. Squad 2 also improves reliability and response times and keeps fire trucks in their assigned areas.
