On November 19, 2025, Bozeman Patrol and Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were notified of an active kidnapping in Bozeman. The suspect stole a vehicle from a victim who was ordering food. Inside the vehicle was the victim’s juvenile child. The suspect drove over a mile before the child was able to get out of the vehicle. He then crashed the stolen vehicle outside of Bozeman where he was arrested by Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Belgrade Police Officers.
The suspect was just released from prison on November 4, 2025. He was charged with four felonies – Kidnapping, Criminal Endangerment, Criminal Child Endangerment, and Theft of a Motor Vehicle. He is currently being held on $250,000 bond.
