Rouse Reconstruction - Main to Oak
The Rouse Ave - Main to Oak project continues for the week of May 25. Crews will not work on Memorial Day, May 25, but the closure will still be in effect. Rouse Avenue is closed to through traffic from 150 feet south of Oak Street to Aspen Street. The intersection of Rouse Avenue and Oak Street continues to be open.
Crews are installing a new storm drain, replacing the aging system currently in place, and are excavating in the area. While this work has been occurring, crews identified additional issues with water mains in the area and worked to fix these issues. The closure in this area is anticipated to shift the first week of June and work will move south.
Traffic should detour via Oak Street, Seventh Avenue, and Main Street. The detour map is available online at: https://www.mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/rouseoakmain/docs/May-2020-Traffic-Control-Plan.pdf.
We currently anticipate construction to wrap up in December 2020. If any delays in the schedule occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Weekly project updates will continue to be provided every Friday throughout construction. If you have any questions, please call 406-207-4484 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are here to help address your concerns during this project.
