Four New Officers Sworn Into PD

Bozeman Police Department swears in four new officers

 

On Friday, September 8, 2017 the Bozeman Police Department held a swearing in ceremony.     

Seamus Burke, Cody Criner, Anthony Taylor and Matthew Zadigan were sworn in as new police officers. All four officers will be attending the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena, beginning September 11. Upon graduating from that program, they will begin the department’s fourteen week Field Training and Evaluation Program.   

Officer Burke previously worked for Aerie Backcountry Medicine and has military history in Para-rescue. 

Officer Criner has lived in Bozeman since he was four years old and previously worked in excavation. He is a member of the Montana Army National Guard. 

Officer Taylor was born in Flathead County and previously worked as a 7th grade English teacher in Kyle, SD working with the Teach for America Program. 

Officer Zadigan comes from Gainesville, VA where he worked as a field service representative for SAVA Solutions and served in the military. 

Once their training is complete, all four officer will be assigned to the patrol division.
