AGENDA

 

  1. Call to Order & Introductions of Attendees  

  2. Consideration of Meeting Agenda (Chair may make adjustments as deemed helpful) 

  3. Public Comment (Please state your name and address.  This is the time for individuals to comment on any  matters falling within the purview of the Committee.  Opportunity for public input will also be provided in conjunction with each individual agenda item.   A given speaker addressing a given topic may speak at one or the other of those two opportunities but not both.  Please limit comments to a maximum of five minutes.  The chairperson may alter or waive these restrictions.)  

  4. Approval of Minutes of August 8, 2018 Meeting.

  5. Report on Results of Previous Actions & Consideration of Follow-Up Actions

  6. Reports from City Commissioners, County Commissioners & School Board Members

  7. Reports/Requests from Law Enforcement Liaison Officers

  8. Reports from Non-Voting Official Committee Members (City, County, & Schools) 

  9. Reports from Related Groups (BABAB, TCC, GVLT, Safer Bozeman, GAP, etc.)

  10. Safety Concerns along South Church from Pete’s Hill through Bogert Park

  11. Pedestrian Access to Bus Stop at College & Grant Chamberlain.   

  12. Implementation of Bozeman Community Transportation Safety Plan. 

  13. Consider Making Recommendations on County Road Design Standards & Policies.

  14. Consider Commenting on MDT State Bike/Ped Plan. 

  15. Additional Business (time permitting) 

    a.  Consider making safety-related recommendations to Congress, the State legislature, MDT, City & County Commissions, planning boards, & other review groups, administrative bodies & advocacy groups on proposed projects and on policies & budgets scheduled for consideration by those bodies or under staff  review 

    b.  Specific Sidewalks & Pedestrian Crossings (existing or proposed)

    c.  Individual streets & Intersections (e.g., Willson, College, Kagy)

    d.  Distracted Driver Issues (bills, laws, ordinances & educational efforts) 

    e.  Consider Joining With Other Groups in Advocating for Safety Causes

    f.  Other Concerns of Members
