Experience the Acoustic Atlas in the small Conference Room from September 7 - September 14 to hear the sounds of Yellowstone!
The Acoustic Atlas is curated by the Montana State University Library and includes more than 2,500 recordings of species and environments from throughout the Western United States. The collection emphasizes the strong connection between natural sounds and regional ecosystems, and features a growing number of recordings from Montana and the Yellowstone corridor. Sounds are provided with the help of volunteers, researchers, and through collaborations with agencies like the National Park Service Collections of animal sounds and other environmental recordings.
Our Yellowstone will run the month of September 2018 and is free to the community. All events will be held at the Bozeman Public Library unless otherwise noted. For more information, go to ouryellowstone.org or call (406) 582-2410.
