OPERATIONS / LAB

The operations and lab division of the Bozeman WWTP is responsible for making all daily activated sludge process control decisions that enable the City to optimize the performance of the treatment plant.

The lab is also responsible for daily sample collection, analysis, data storage and retrieval, trend-analysis and many other aspects of plant operation that assure our continued permit compliance.

Samples are brought to the lab throughout the day to assure the quality of the plant effluent being discharged.  At the end of each month, a comprehensive water quality report is submitted to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in Helena. The Bozeman WWTP has an outstanding record of continuous permit compliance and performance.
