How to report a crime in progress:

Call 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY. Calls to 9-1-1 are free from payphones and most cell phones.

How to report a non-emergency incident/situation:

Unless you need an immediate response to a fire, medical or police emergency, call the Non-Emergency number at 582-2000. Using the non-emergency number helps keep the 9-1-1 lines available for persons reporting emergencies. Other kinds of calls that are appropriate for this non-emergency number would include complaints such as noise, parking, abandoned vehicles, nuisance animals, non-injury motor vehicle accidents, etc.

How to place an anonymous tip:

You can place anonymous crime tips through the Headwaters Crimestoppers Gallatin County hotline at (406) 586-1131. or send to anonymous@bozeman.net
