KIRK PARK AND BASEBALL FIELDS
The plan to build Kirk Park was approved by the city commission on March 3, 1965. It was originally only 5.634 acres, but over the years it has expanded to 13.3 acres. The baseball fields on the west side of the park are home to Babe Ruth baseball. A skate park was built in the South East corner of the park in 2000. There is a playground, restrooms, and a small creek running through the middle of the park
