The Adam Bronken Sports Complex was originally constructed as a memorial to Adam Bronken, who was an avid soccer player.  The land was donated as part of the Valley West Subdivision parkland dedication requirements, and labor and cash donations were used to complete the first phase of the park.  Groundbreaking of the park happened in October of 1997.  Most of the credit for the development of the park goes to Brian Troth, who acted as the general contractor on the project.  After work began on the park the City of Bozeman began awarding funds from the Park Fund Grant Program to help with the completion of the park.  Once the first phase was completed, the city took over management of the park.  There are roughly 40 acres of dedicated parkland at the complex most of which is either wetland or natural parkland.  The park has been the home of Bozeman Blitz and AYSO soccer since 2004.
