SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT LIGHTING DISTRICTS

Special Improvement Lighting Districts (SILD) are certain districts with in the city limits that benefit from street lighting.  These are perpetual assessments which appear on the Special Assessment bill.  Lighting assessments provide funding for the installation and operation of the street lights.
