We do not turn off water/sewer service to an address in between property owners, instead we change the name on the water/sewer account as of the legal closing date of your sale or purchase.  We will take a meter reading on the day of closing so that each party is charged for their consumption accordingly.  If you are selling a property, make sure to give us your forwarding address so that we may send your final bill there to ensure prompt payment.  Likewise, if you are purchasing a home, please call us to set up your account and provide us with the proper billing address.  Upon vacating a residence, you may either leave the garbage tote there and transfer it to the new owner, or you can have the service terminated and we will pick up the tote.  Please do not take your garbage container with you even if you are moving to another address within City limits.  We will be happy to provide you with a new container at your new address.
