Reorganized in 1999 and as specified in M.C.A. 7-13-4516(2) and (3), the Board consists of not less than five members, including one County Commissioner; one member from the governing body of each consolidated city or town included in the District; one member of the County, or the City-County, Board of Health; and one Conservation District Supervisor.
The remaining members are selected from interested persons through mutual agreement by all governing bodies. Terms of members are staggered and after the initial terms are for three years.
