The Story columns. These were taken from the original Nelson Story mansion and relocated on the family plot. They can be found in the "Old" section of the cemetery, overlooking Bozeman.
The following couple of pictures are but a small example of what greets the cemetery staff most mornings. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have this view out our window.

The first hint of the coming morn. View is looking North towards the Bridger Mountain Range. The 777 Building on East Main and Bozeman's eclectic EastSide Neighborhood in the foreground.

Morning over Montana State University.
The Tobacco Root Mountains proudly show their white peaks in the distance. It is no small wonder Lewis and Clark were a little disheartened!

People are not our only visitors! Sunset Hills Cemetery has - and continues - to play host to a variety of wildlife. Our grounds have been the temporary home to deer, moose, a fox or two, rabbits, the occasional black bear, and...

a some of our not-so-grounded friends.
If you have the chance, the time, and the inclination come pay us a visit. Who knows what you may come across. A little scenery, a little wildlife, and a whole lot of history!!
