The Bozeman Police Department is teaching D.A.R.E. to all 5th graders in Bozeman elementary schools and schools outside of Bozeman as far away as Three Forks. In addition to developing important educational information covering Drug and Violence Resistance, the students and their families have an outstanding opportunity to develop a positive relationship and image of area law enforcement officers and programs. This relationship plays a very important role in developing Community Oriented Policing Strategies and positive relationships from which every officer and citizen benefits.
