BOZEMAN CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
The city attorney is the legal advisor and attorney for the city. The City
Attorney's Office is responsible for protecting the legal interests of the
city. The City Attorney and staff represent the city before all courts,
administrative agencies, and all legal proceedings involving the city;
prosecutes misdemeanors and traffic offenses committed within city limits;
provides legal advice to the City Commission, City Manager, and all departmental
staff; and prepares or reviews contracts, deeds, resolutions, ordinances, and
other municipal documents. The City Attorney and legal staff do not provide
legal services or legal advice to citizens of the City of Bozeman
