About the Bozeman Creek Neighborhood...
Boundaries: extend from the intersection of the Gallagator Trail and
South Church south along Church to Kagy Boulevard, west along Kagy to South
Black Street, north on South Black to Mason Avenue, across Mason and through the
Langor Gardens to the Gallagator Trail, north on the Trail to the point of
origin. The BCNA is divided into 5 districts.
Subdivisions: The BCNA includes approximately 12 subdivisions or phases.
Businesses: The BCNA has a number of businesses located on the southern
boundary facing Kagy Boulevard (e.g. Kagy Corner).
Size and Rentals: The neighborhood has a variety of densities ranging
from R-1 to R-4 with approximately 600 households. This neighborhood is near the
college and has a high number of rental properties.
Structure: Advisory Council (7 members = 5 district representatives + 2
at-large). HOAs and Condo Associations are not represented specifically on the
Council, but may run as a District Represenatative to serve residents within 1
or 5 specific areas. They may also run as an at-large representative.
Communication: The neighborhood communicates using flyers, meetings, and
a newsletter delivered by volunteers.
