Welcome to the City of Bozeman Parks and Recreation Department.

Bozeman’s growth and quality of life is a direct result of access to high quality parks, trails, open spaces and recreational programs. The City of Bozeman’s Parks and Recreation Department works diligently as the creator and maintainer to community playgrounds, pools, trails, cemeteries, ball fields, urban forests and also acts as administrator to the Trails and Open Space (TOP) program. These shared community spaces allow us to connect with friends and family and create memories for generations to come.
As our community grows as does our responsibility to continue to develop opportunities for residents to connect with nature and live healthy lives. The maintenance of our existing and future parks and trails is vital to our high quality of life, our transportation network, and continued economic prosperity by creating a desirable location to live, work and play.
