Wage/Salary: $52,020 - $61,200/year depending on experience and qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:
The ERP Application Manager administers the City’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software application used to manage financial, community development applications, permits, utility, land management, and human resources information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or a related field; and
• Considerable (3-5years) experience with equivalent software applications; or
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Preference for experience working with IBM hardware and OS400 operating systems.
 
REQUIRED SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
•  May require additional certification(s) specific to the functional area of assignment;
•  Offer for employment are conditional upon satisfactory response to a criminal background check, including a 10-point finger print check, criminal history check, thorough reference checks, a credit history check, and a search of publicly available internet sources.
 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Significant knowledge of enterprise resource planning (SunGard) systems and their operations and maintenance. 
• Ability to learn the operating characteristics, capabilities, and limitations of the City’s software applications and related peripheral equipment;
• Ability to utilize specialized spreadsheets, word processing, financial management, and database software applications programs;         
• Ability to prepare and present accurate and reliable reports containing findings and recommendations;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned supervisors, other City employees, and the general public; 
• Ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks;
