  To enhance the quality of life in Bozeman by safely maintaining, improving, and managing dependable and efficient water distribution and sewer collection systems.

Providing safe drinking water to the residents and visitors of Bozeman is the essential function of the City of Bozeman Water and Sewer Division. Along with the responsibility for conveying potable water through 253 miles of water mains from the Sourdough and Lyman Creek Water Treatment plants, the Water and Sewer Division staff is also responsible for maintaining 200.88 miles of sewer main from the connection on your property to the Wastewater Treatment Plant located on Springhill Road.
