Biosolid Injection

The Bozeman WRF land application program provides for the beneficial reuse of biosolids which are an excellent soil conditioner that is high in nitrogen and phosphorus. The Bozeman WRF operates its biosolids injection program from April each year until the ground freezes in the fall. During a typical year we land apply over 9,000,000 gallons of biosolids and utilize over 530 acres of EPA approved farmland.
