Bozeman Police Business League

The concept behind the Bozeman Police Business League is to develop positive working relationships between local businesses throughout the city and the Bozeman Police Department. This will occur with the exchange of information focusing primarily on crime prevention techniques to reduce opportunities for criminal activity and improve business security practices.

The Bozeman Police Department is reaching out to the business community to assist with the creation of the Bozeman Police Business League.  General meetings will be scheduled four times per year with guest speakers in attendance to present information about topics such as fraudulent criminal activity, burglary, robbery, workplace violence, and building security.

Program benefits include a security inspection of the business property conducted by the Bozeman Police Department with the assistance of local architectural firms to review landscaping, lighting and locking devices, as well as general office policies to assist with creating a crime-free business.

Goals of the Bozeman Police Business League

 Establish an information exchange network to discuss and alert businesses of new trends in criminal activity affecting our local businesses.
 Identify common trends and reduce criminal activity against businesses.
 Develop an exchange of information between businesses and between business owners and law enforcement.
 Empower business owners and employee’s control of their security through education, awareness and prevention.
