Investigative Division The primary responsibility of the investigation division is to investigate the felony property and violent crimes that occur within the city limits of Bozeman. Some types of these investigations include forgeries, burglaries, assaults, robberies, embezzlements and sexual and physical crimes against children.

Support Services Division The support services division oversees animal control and education, parking enforcement and education, fleet maintenance, department training, police officer recruitment and hiring, uniforms and equipment, D.A.R.E. and community outreach programs such as the Citizen's Police Academy, National Night Out and the Bozeman Police Business League.
