The Wetlands Review Board schedules meetings as needed. Please contact Citizen Advisory Board Coordinator, Aimee Kissel at akissel@bozeman.net or 582-2320 for information regarding upcoming meetings.

Purpose / Creation:

The Wetlands Review Board is established to prepare functional assessments based on Chapter 18.56 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, of regulated wetlands that may be impacted by proposed regulated activities. The Board also evaluates the impacts activities may have on delineated wetlands, provide wetlands protection and mitigation and enhance recommendations regarding such proposals to the Planning Director and City Commission.

Membership:

The WRB shall consist of six members appointed by the City Commission to staggered two year terms. Members shall be degreed in their respective disciplines and / or otherwise licensed or certified by their respective professional authorities. Preference shall be given to residents of the City of Bozeman, but when a qualified resident is not available, the Commission may appoint a member who practices professionally, owns property or owns a business within the City.

Members shall consist of at least:

One Biologist
One Soil Scientist
One Plant Scientist
One Hydrologist
