Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Committee

Public Meeting Schedule:

This Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at noon in the second floor conference room of the Stiff Building at 20 East Olive.

Purpose / Creation:

This Committee was created under an Interlocal Agreement with the State of Montana Department of Transportation, the City of Bozeman and Gallatin County. The Committee is advisory and acts as a sounding board for proposals advanced to the Transportation Coordinating Committee.

Liaisons:

The City Commission liaison for this Committee is Deputy Mayor Sean Becker. The City Staff liaison for this Committee is Street Superintendent John Van Delinder. Mr. Van Delinder can be reached at jvandelinder@bozeman.net or (406) 3206.

Membership:

Members are appointed for two year staggered terms by the City and County Commissions "from a cross section of the study area's economic and social classes in accordance with the appropriate section of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964".
