Accessibility Policy (Draft)

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 is a civil rights law that mandates the elimination of discrimination against persons with a qualifying disability. The City of Bozeman is committed in providing employees and the public, including individuals with disabilities, access to its web-based information and services.  Striving to meet Recommendations www.bozeman.net  is designed for compliance with Priority Two of the WCAG1 Guidelines and  guidelines in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act that are not covered in WCAG1 Priority Two.

However, since the City of Bozeman web site  provides links to many web sites that are not created or maintained by the City of Bozeman, it is possible that a site reached through City of Bozeman web site would not be accessible to persons with disabilities.
